Join our 2.5-hours Street Food Tour led by a professional local guide and enjoy a pleasant walk through the history and culinary scene of the Medieval city of Florence. Be welcomed by our local guide and enjoy this journey into the flavours of the Florentine tradition.

Starting from the San Lorenzo district, visit the local market and be amazed by its colourful stalls: from the seasonal fruit and vegetables to the butchery’s windows. Taste the local balsamic vinegar and the cantuccini biscuits, pass by the fresh pasta laboratory and try the local recipes. Do not miss the chance to have the original ribollita, pappa al pomodoro and more!

This tour is the perfect combination of history and traditional food: in between the food stops you will also see the San Lorenzo Church – attended by the Medici family – the Baptistery, the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral – whose huge dome can be seen from each spot of the city! Firstly don't eat breakfast! We met Bruno, our guide at the Santa Maria Novella Station at 11am and then set off on a superb gastro tour of this beautiful city. We tried delicious foods we may never had done on a menu and visited places we would never have found on our own. Bruno was friendly and fun and so knowledgable about his City and Country. Do take a camera as we visited some of the city's most famous landmarks enroute. There was just enough walking in between stops - for more eating! The tour lasted over three hours and was an amazing way to spend a day in Florence. There were just 4 in our party and we all loved it! We also revisited some of the stops in the following days. MEETING POINT	Meet your guide in Campo San Bortolomeo, next to the statue. Open link in Google Maps You can reach the meeting venue from the Venezia Santa Lucia railway station taking the Vaporetto Line 2 (towards Rialto) and hopping off at the terminus station. Rialto is close to the Vaporetto stop. From the Rialto Bridge it will only take 3 minutes walking.
